In a nutshell

Neumann LC 4 KK passive cable, different of the LC 3 KA for KM 100 series, is for KM A or KM D body with KK capsule and is characterized by a better flexibility and a less handle noise sensitivity than the Schoeps active cable. Unlike its competitor which integrates an active electronics (FET) in the cable itself, it is a passive cable like the LC 3 KA but with different connectors than this last one. The Neumann system could be reproached for fragile connectors and easily oxidizing.
This LC 4 KK is 5 meters long with a neutral grey colour.
