Facts are simple: the world of audio pro gear is growing fast, adding several transmitter references each year. Hooking a transmitter on a boom pole is now a must-have on almost every shooting. That's why it was crucial to create a system able to hook any kind of RF transmitter on any type of boom.
The goal may be simple, the task is less. As a rental company, we used all of our rental gear park and our knowledge to create a swiss-knife tool for our boom op friends. After a beta version already used on shootings, DC Audiovisuel is proud to introduce UniFix™.

In our requirement specifications, it was imperative to have the least possible detached pieces. UniFix can welcome any RF transmitter, without any additional pieces. Except the transmitter belt clip.
By default, UniFix fit on VDB boom poles (22 mm diameter). From this base, it's possible to reduce the diameter (to 20, 18 or 15 mm) in order to fit any smaller boom, with a small adapter guided in a rail into UniFix core.
We didn’t forget the old TX/RX generation, so we added the possibility to hook a Phantom L-48 module with a second adapter on the side of UniFix core.
